“ We are a British couple living in Oberdorf, which is a 5 minute drive from Restaurant Schlüssel. We discovered this restaurant 2 years ago and we try to have a meal there at least once every 6-8 weeks. Andrea Amstutz, one of the owners and her staff are friendly and welcoming (we haven't met her husband Hermann, the other owner yet) and they make us feel at home. The menu is varied with a good selection of tasty dishes, but we absolutely love the pouletflügli (chicken wings) and pommes (chips/fries). The atmosphere is pleasant and it often gets busy, but to us busy means the sign of a good restaurant. The Schlüssel's prices are reasonable also; I tried the pouletflügli in another local restaurant, as the Schlüssel is closed on a Tuesday, and the price was slightly more expensive for less food. Another bonus is that there is lots of free parking immediately outside the restaurant and it has a tree shaded garden area that one can sit and eat in during the warmer months along with a play area for children. The restaurant is always clean and the toilet facilities are also exceptionally clean and pleasant. They also have a function room for a larger party of people.
